At Climbo, we are proud to announce that we will once again collaborate in the Gran Canaria Walking Festival 2026, one of the most emblematic hiking events in the Canary Islands. Our team contributes to the development and execution of the festival’s hiking routes, helping ensure safe, meaningful, and memorable experiences for all participants while showcasing the extraordinary landscapes of Gran Canaria. For us, this is more than just an event.

It is an opportunity to share what we love most about Gran Canaria: its nature, culture, volcanic landscapes, and authentic rural life.

A unique Hiking Festival in Gran Canaria

The Gran Canaria Walking Festival has become a reference event for hiking lovers who want to discover the island in an active and meaningful way.

During the four days of the festival (15–18 October 2026), participants will enjoy a selection of guided routes designed to showcase the incredible diversity of Gran Canaria. Walkers will explore:

  • Volcanic landscapes and dramatic mountain ridges
  • Ancient forests and deep ravines
  • Traditional villages and cultural landmarks
  • Spectacular viewpoints

Gran Canaria is often described as a “miniature continent”, thanks to the variety of landscapes that can be experienced within short distances. This makes the island one of the best destinations for hiking in Europe.

Our vision at Climbo

At Climbo, our mission has always been to create experiences that connect people with the true essence of Gran Canaria.

We design and guide outdoor activities that go beyond simple sightseeing. Through interpretation, storytelling, and exploration, we help visitors understand the island’s volcanic origin, biodiversity, history, and traditions.

Organizing the Gran Canaria Walking Festival 2026 allows us to bring this philosophy to an international event where participants can experience the island through carefully designed walking routes.

Our approach is based on three key principles:

– Respect for nature and sustainable tourism
– Authentic experiences guided by experts
– Deep interpretation of Gran Canaria’s landscapes and culture

We believe that walking is one of the best ways to truly understand a place.
Our goal is that each participant not only enjoys the hike, but also leaves with a deeper understanding of what makes Gran Canaria such a unique place.
