Hiking Azuaje

Hiking in Azuaje with the Saint Teresa School

On May the 26th we had the chance to collaborate with the Saint Teresa School of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria doing a guided hiking trip through the ravine of Azuaje, in the north of Gran Canaria.

We headed for Firgas, a small village located in the north of the island. After having done the briefing with our team and the security briefing with the students, we started the descent the ravine, which is especial natural reserve and it is settled in such a stunning place for hiking.

During the descent we also enjoyed not only the beautiful landscapes, but also the biodiversity this ravine has to offer. Once arrived to the former spa, we did a small pause before starting to ascend through Guadalupe Ravine.

This journey has such a comfortable path to walk and during the trip you will find out a small row running through the entire ravine as well as some small cascades. 4 hours of complete excitement and enjoyment learning about the biodiversity of this settlement and the culture and history of this amazing place.
